DRAMA CLUB

Drama club was formed in 2008/09. Based on an interdisciplinary concept with workshop activities, the club is directed towards teaching the students about all segments of drama and theatrical art. Students are given an opportunity to be drama writers, directors, costume designers, actors, which is also an important characteristics of this club - students independently prepare and conduct the performances.

Drama club is coached by teacher Natalija Suboticki in cooperation with teachers Ivana Jancic and Žarka Svirčev.
The club coordinator and students have made the repertoire and concrete plan of work and act only as advisors and not the final decision-makers. It is very important that students participate in all public performances that represent the school and students’ creativity.      
           
Acquisition of knowledge, creativity, exchanging experiences and friendship are the foundations on which the positive spirit of the club is based.

The current project of the club is a play Two writers seek faces. The plaz is of mozaic structure, and the plot is made of funny situations from the life of today's teenagers (school, going outs, internet, family relations) that give out a critical note ....

Drama club plan also includes participation at the Youth Festival Competition.
